Hi Everyone, I have been searching flower sites trying to come up for an idea for my next floral painting and I have decided on the beautiful Zinnia flower. These flowers orginate from Mexico and our similar to sunflowers and Gerbera daisies. They have beautiful colors ranging from bright orange, vibrant, dark reds, dark pinks and bright yellows. I am going to paint them in a Mexican style pot.There will be lots of color going on this one. A fiesta of color and the painting will be entitled "Zinnia Fiesta"!
So here is my very rough sketch of the new idea.
I will not be able to start any work on my painting as Andreas and I have decided to hit the road tomorrow and drive to Luebeck, Germany for a few days.
It will be really nice to get away on a mini vacation. Hoping we have some better weather as the weather is the absolute pitts here!
