"Flavours of Provence"

Hi Everyone, Fresh off my easel this afternoon: My latest painting "Flavours of  Provence”.  I put lots of work into it and I am very pleased and proud of the results.    The whole time I was painting this one..I was off travelling to Provence again and it was a great trip!
The painting is big in size (measuring 91 x 61 cm) and covers all the beautiful colours, flowers, scenery and local specialities of Provence from its colourful pottery to its famous Herbes de Provence, to their fougasse breads, vegetables, yummy calisson biscuits, confits, aioli, olives, sausisson, their special Banon cheese wrapped in chestnut leaves, olive oil, Rose wine and Pastis…of course..lolol….  Hope you enjoy viewing the painting.

Provence Luncheon Table

Since, I have been working on my new painting of Provence and all its wonderful delicacies, I have been feeling in a very French Provence mood. I recently set my table for my wonderful mama's bday celebration with my new Provence table cloth I bought last May in France. Unfortunately, it has been postponed to a later date because of the snow storm and bad weather. Oh well, its going to be a lunch a deux. After some massive shovelling we chowed down to a good lunch! lolol
