Welcome to my Studio Blog
Take a peek into my studio and See what inspires me to create my paintings and what’s been happening in my studio and on my travels.
I love to travel, see new places and meet new people. I love to create bold colourful paintings, many of them based on my wonderful travels.
Hi Everyone, I am honoured and happy to announce that my art work "Retro Martini" was featured on
Red Bubble's homepage, September 27, 2009. 1st square top left hand corner:
Received the East Ottawa newspaper on Friday. It was really exciting for me to see the article in the actual paper. I have a busy week ahead and then we have Easter (my favourite holiday),
I just hope that we dont get that lousy snow they are mentionning in the forecast for Wednesday. Gosh it just all melted away! Weather is cold and damp again and snow flakes are already falling....! I just cant wait for the real spring and not all these random teasing days we have been getting.

Hello everyone, I am really delighted to announce that I was selected as one of the featured painters at Dezine Design, a wonderful Design Site with great animal designs and also helping out very creative artists without any computer/internet access.
I was referred to as:
"Lisa Lorenz - the Queen of Color - need I say more? (...wonderful flowers & stylized cityscapes...)"
To see the Raw Talent Section please click this Link: Dezine Design's Raw Talent page which showcases a selection of artistic people around the world who (in our unashamedly personal opinion!) are doing exceptional work in their respective creative fields. The purpose of Raw Talent is to inspire...nothing more, nothing less...but if you love the work of these artists, as we do, why not buy some of their clever creations? They are selective about whom they choose to partner with, and only select Partners whom we believe are doing something truly original, and whose work will compliment that of our other Partners who are already published on this site. So, if your work stands out above the rest, please email us your web link and we'll take a look, and hopefully add your link to our site! We maintain the sole right to select Partners at our own discretion. To visit their website click this Banner:

Hi everyone, I am pleased to say that I am the featured artist on Imagekind today.
Go to http://www.imagekind.com/ and you will see me on the first page! I almost fell off my chair this morning when I saw myself...lol. I have always wanted to be featured, but I thought I may never be so I am very happy and dancing a jig! It will be on only for today, so you will have to take a look before it is gone and a new artist is featured tomorrow.
Thanks so much for all your support
Best wishes
Lisa
