Hi everyone, TGIF! I began work on my Monterosso, Cinque Terre painting. I finished my drawing on my canvas in charocoal. It was a big job as usual. Actually not as messy as usual...lol. Getting better with charocal and drawing much more lightly. Next the fun step of adding colour. I will begin my grey tones first. Stay tuned..wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Monterosso - New WIP painting
Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the Spring. I am back to work on my Cinque Terre series. My next village is Monterosso. I am doing a landscape scene of Monterosso al mare (ocean front with that famous rock & glorious acqua water). It will be different from my other paintings as it has much more foliage, water and landscape. Here is my rough sketch for my new painting. Looking foward to starting this one. Next step to draw the image on the canvas..Ouff not looking forward to that part, its always a difficult messy task.
