Hi Everyone, Well I finsished my Flavours of Provence commission painting. I am pleased with the results and I believe my new customers will be happy. Just need to varnish, frame and then deliver.
Welcome to my Studio Blog
I love to travel, see new places and meet new people. I love to create bold colourful paintings, many of them based on my wonderful travels.

Cumerland Show and New Commissions
Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing well and had a great weekend. We had a quiet one and lots of rain. I was not feeling very well and had bad allergies...the ragweed levels were high here and I was suffering big time.
I have also been busy working on a new commission piece. I met some local customers at the recent Cumberland Art in the Park Exhibit on August 25th and they have commissioned two paintings. After the show they came by my studio the next day to see some of my bigger pieces and see the colourful paintings hanging in my home. They fell in love with my work and in particular my "Flavours of Provence" painting and one of my long florals. The original Provence painting is not for sale at the moment. It is in my private collection and will be available, along with my Cinque Terre series at another time. I am building a series for a gallery and a future show. I have decided to re-paint them the painting and of course it will be somewhat different from the original. I am not very fond of re-painting the same image, but this is a good sale and promotion for me. They have also commissioned me to paint them a long floral painting with orchids.
I thought I would also share some pictures with you all of my booth at the show. Was a good show for me.

My Talented Boo
Here are some of my Boo's art work she completed in her pre-school. She is not even 3 1/2. I think she has talent. I love this pic and how proud she is of her pieces!
And here is here is my Bee (The Boo's sister) who is 9 months old. She has the sweetest face and most lively eyes! She also loves to look at my colourful paintings.
