Welcome to my Studio Blog
Take a peek into my studio and See what inspires me to create my paintings and what’s been happening in my studio and on my travels.
I love to travel, see new places and meet new people. I love to create bold colourful paintings, many of them based on my wonderful travels.
Hi Everyone, sorry it has been some time since I have updated my Studio blog. I have been quite busy organizing for our big move back to Canada. The movers are coming in a few days and its time to say good bye to Copenhagen. My husband and I will be moving back to our native Canada after living abroad for over 13 years. I am over the moon and really looking forward to moving back to my beautiful Canada and being close to my friends and family again.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to update my blog until I move back home in early February. I am really looking forward to settling in our new home and organizing my new studio, and resume my painting.
As of January 30th, please send all future emails, or inquiries about my art work to: lisalorenzpaintings@hotmail.com.
This email address will be temporary until we are set up with sympatico. I will advise of the new email address at that time.
Wishing you all a wonderful upcoming weekend and happy creating.

Hi Everyone, my friends asked me if I could do some revisions to their Little House painting. I really did not want to do these changes but they are the customer. They asked if I could add some more yellow and rose to the house and put add some yellow light in their kitchen window, and a bit more white reflections to the glass windows . So here are the changes:

And the Original One
(I like them both, but I prefer my original painting). I would really appreciate any of your comments about the revisions.
Hi Everyone, I just finished another commission painting for my friend Sandra in Copenhagen. Its a painting of her lovely horse Kamma. This was a real challenge for me as I have never painted a horse before. I advised Sandra that I was not an animal painter and she still wanted something. So after a days work, much to my surprise I am quite pleased with sweet Kamma.
The painting is small and measures 8.5 x 11 inches - done in Acrylics. I am going to Sandra's for dinner tonight and I am quite excited to see her reaction.

This weeks Theme over at Illustration Friday is 100%.
The weather has been so grey, cold and windy over here in Copenhagen that I am longing already for summer. My painting "Beach Colours" is 100% all about the joys of summer.
I would like to wish all my artist friends and readers a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2008.
I also finished a painting for some Danish friends of mine on New Years Eve. A painting of their beautiful home in Frederiskberg, Copenhagen. Sorry I was unable to post my wip of this painting as things have been quite hectic over here planning my big move back to Canada!
