Happy Holidays

Wishing all my friends a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

It has been a crazy month of December for me. The wood pecker attack is still on going, but I see much less of him since the plastic barrier is on the house. He came back once last week to a portion of the house that was not covered. So, now all the walls are covered. It looks awful but it's keeping me sane! We plan on removing it after the holidays. Hopefully, he has moved on now.

I also quit smoking and it has been very very difficult. However, it's day 20 and I am still smoke free and I managed to survive the bird stress, the hectic holidays, constant snow storms, ice rain, and our leaking window on Christmas eve...... I am just going one day at a time! It's the hardest thing I have ever done.

So my dear friends, see you all back in the New Year! Hopefully I will have some paintings finished and new ideas for 2009.

All my best wishes to you all, and I look forward to seeing your artistic endeavours for 2009!

Congratulations on quitting smoking! It sounds like you've had a real test to your desire to kick them.
Best to you in 2009!

Dear Lisa,
I have just logged back onto Facebook and saw all of your comments and pics. I have posted some comments and pics on my profile. We have a new baby girl named Sydney. She has been an absolute gem. We are so happy and blessed. I wanted to catch up again and say hi! I have also caught up on your woodpecker adventures. Wow...what a nightmare. I hope to hear from you soon.
