Welcome to my Studio Blog
Take a peek into my studio and See what inspires me to create my paintings and what’s been happening in my studio and on my travels.
I love to travel, see new places and meet new people. I love to create bold colourful paintings, many of them based on my wonderful travels.
Hi Everyone, Just got back from a wonderful weekend in Montreal celebrating my wonderful Father's 65th Birthday. The big event took place at my sister's beautiful home. I also bought down the painting for my little God Daughter Margaux. It was so exciting to see her expression as I showed her the painting. She was starring at it in such excitement. She loves all colourful things like her Auntie Lisa. Wishing you all a lovely week! I am finally getting back in my studio to work on some paintings.
My wonderful Father

And Family. It was such a beautiful supper
Was priceless to see her looking at the painting

My sister Mary and the beautiful Margaux
Me and my Boo, always smiling and kicking her little legs
Wearing the Baby Dior Dress I bought her. LOL...Spending all my painting royalties on the Boo! Too cute for words, she loves to touch her toes
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. We have been having some amazing weather here in Ottawa. Its' been about 2 weeks and no rain. I can hardly believe it after a very rainy summer. I also had my good friend Sue from Vancouver visiting for a week.
I also received 1st Place for the Viewers Choice Award for my Maritime Special painting. And even better, I sold the painting. Wishing you all a great day!

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing well. Things have been going well and I have been busy these past days preparing for the summer exhibition this weekend.
Also I just finished a painting I did for my little niece Margaux who is turning 3 months old this Saturday. I cant believe how fast time is flying by! It’s quite cute and I thought I would share the pic with you all.

Also here is a more generic one I did. Basically the same painting with a hand painted "Friends" template on top of the banner - to be sold as prints, cards, etc. I also have one where the orange banner is left blank, so I can add all sorts of things to the banner: Happy Birthday, Girl Power, personal names, etc.... the possibilities are endless...lol. It was really fun painting this one. Andreas wants to do a story book now based on these little characters…LOL.

And here's my little Boo

Have a great weekend everyone! and happy painting!
Hi Everyone, I just finished my Colours of Tuscany painting. Lots of beautiful golds, oranges and greens in this one, with our course the beautiful sunflowers of Italy. Tuscany is one of my cherished places and I love all the colours and beauty it offers. I enjoyed painting this one. This painting is 60 x 80 cm in acrylics and I am quite pleased with it. It will be part of the Fall exhibition in November at the gallery. It looks like I already may have a buyer .....so that is quite exciting. Wishing you all a lovely upcoming weekend. ACDC is coming to Montreal and we will be going to see them. My husband is a big fan and I acutally like them too!
