One Year Today...

Well, its one year today that we left beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark to move back to our native Canada. I am orginally from Montreal in the belle province but I now hang my hat in our nation's captial "Ottawa".

I live in the country/burbs now and I am still getting use to living back in Canada and I am finding the winters very long and hard. I really miss Europe, our friends, and our travels and I think of them very often and fondly. However, it is very nice to be closer to my family who all live in Montreal; it's only about a 2 hour drive so thats not too bad.
The "Welcome Home" sign my parents prepared for us!

And it feels like just yesterday we were in our apartment in Copenhagen and living with all these boxes and getting ready for the big overseas move!!!

And the big unpacking again in Ottawa, I never thought I would see those boxes unpacked and the house organized. Boy do I hate moving! LOL.

My living - room so many boxex and paper

And Finally the transformation

Doesn't time fly?!! Bet you're glad not to have that chore anymore- I loathe it too! Thanks for your nice comment on my blog, by the way. Our postings are for four years, so hopefully, I won't have to pack and unpack for a while yet!

Hi Bunny..oh yeah there was 378 boxes...crazy. They pack everything so well with tons of paper that is why there are so many. It is so long to unpack and fold them all away.

Hi Caroline, Oh yeah, I cant believe how fast time flies. Oh the moving is so exciting, and finding a new home but the unpacking and organizing is dreadful. I have had 7 homes in 13 years! 4 years is a nice time. Ours were for 3.5 - 5 years. Your house is beautiful!
