Pond Jewels Marketing Pictures

Hi everyone, Some pictures I took last week when the weather was so mild. I brought the chair outside on my patio for some nicer outdoor pics. The chair will be leaving soon.

"Pond Jewels" Muskoka Chair Finished

Hello Everyone, I am very pleased to annouce that I finished my Muskoka Chair. "Pond Jewels". It was a big job and I am very pleased with the results. The chair will be heading to the Cottage Show and be auctioned and all money received will be donated to the Cottage Dreams Cancer Recovery Initiative. I have donated 100% of my time and materials. I am very proud of my chair and hope it fetches a large sum at the auction. I will let you know how it go. Wish me luck!

WIP of my Muskoka Chair

Hi Everyone, Well I finally finished the chair, and I am so pleased with the results. It was a huge job, often back breaking. So here are some pictures of my journey. From my sketch Idea to the assembled chair. It was much easier to paint the chair unassembled.

Art Work Accepted for Shenkman Show

Hi Everyone, I hope you have been all keeping warm this winter. We have been having very cold weather in Ottawa recently. I am very happy to announce that I received notification last week that my painting "A Night at Fenice" was accepted by the Jury committee for the upcoming February 20th show at the Shenkman Gallery. This exhibition "A Night at the Theatre" will be held from February 17 to March 22, 2011.

I have been very busy working on my Chair. Its a big job and boy am I ever happy that I selected to paint it unassembled. A pic from last week when it was all ready to go. I will only post pics when I am finished. Don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet...LOL
