Margaux's Ballerina Friends

Hi Everyone, I got side tracked today from my Tuscany painting....lol. Instead I did this illustration in colour pencil. I will explore this new painting idea for my little niece Margaux's. Something girly and sweet as all little girls like to do ballet, dance and twirl ♥

Gosh, I'll bet you've been itching to paint something like this.... A new baby is such a good excuse to revisit your childhood favourites! Actually, you never really need an excuse - I still buy children's books and my girls are in their 20's!!

Hi Kim, Thanks so much for the lovely comments. I could not resist and gave Mary a sneak preview and she was so excited about this sketch and future painting..So that is Great! I too look forward to seeing it come to life on the canvas.

Hey Caroline, yeah I have been itching to do this since about 4 months ago..but I did not do anything as we did not know the sex of the baby. Its easy adn fun for me to do girly things...so thats great. Yes, I love those books too. My sister has quite a few now. My mom even has some from Beatrix Potter..I love her works and books. Have a great day and enjoy your beautiful garden. What season are you in now? rainy? I always remember it being so hot in Thailand in May and June
